ABOUT GODDARD SCUBA CLUB
Goddard Sea Ventures, or GSV, is a local, Washington D.C. metropolitan area based club of diving enthusiasts. We are home-based at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Our members have experienced diving all over the world, in many diverse areas and conditions. Our interests range from recreational reef diving to deep wreck diving and salvation operations. Our club meets the second Tuesday of every month on the Goddard campus. Club meeting are a great opportunity to network and share experiences. In addition to the networking opportunities, GSV offers to its members:
Free air fills for local dives
Free annual Visual Inspection (VIP) by a certified inspectors
Tank hydro testing for the low cost of $10
Club-sponsored wreck diving trips to North Carolina every summer
Advice on equipment, operators, locations and accommodations
Club-sponsored courses on reef ecology and fish identification
Loaner tanks from club members for local dives
A variety of social events during the year, including the Annual Spring Shrimp Feast (a guaranteed great time with door prizes)
